New Orleans visits Milwaukee Bucks: Zion vs. Giannis

When Zion and the Pelicans visit Fiserv Forum on December 11th, all eyes will be on the matchup between Giannis and Zion. Giannis Antetokounmpo is coming off an MVP season in which he won the award for the first time in his young career. He averaged 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists on the season and was able to obtain more votes than James Harden to edge him out for Most Valuable Player. The Bucks lost to the Raptors in the Eastern Conference Finals, however, Giannis continues his trajectory upwards every season improving on both his efficiency and all-around game. This will be Zion’s first test against the Greek MVP and biggest superstar he will have faced in the Eastern Conference to that point in his career. Again, seeing the frames of these two men only provides a spectacle for what will happen when they matchup on the court. Giannis holds more of a wiry, long frame while Zion is very muscular, strong and compact. Giannis is considered more mobile but Zion’s strength and toughness can definitely provide issues for the young MVP. You will want to be tuned in to this one with some friends, food and good basketball conversation.
