Warming up in front of a New Orleans crowd, Zion thrills with a gravity-defying dunk during his recovery routine

One of the exciting parts of waiting for Zion’s first NBA game has to be the content Pelicans beat writers and team media members, featuring Zion Williamson’s impressive pregame practice regimen.

With each pregame routine looking more impressive and by the end, drawing appreciable-sized crowds to watch him warm-up, Zion is becoming must-see material even when he’s not competing in a regulation basketball game.

This video from ESPN’s Andrew Lopez, fans can see the rookie taking flight before the team took on the Utah Jazz.

In the clip, Williamson seems to hang in the air for decades, in what seems like either great slow-motion work or something you’d see on a Michael Jordan highlight tape dubbed onto a VHS.
