Kevin Dura… I mean Brandon Ingram pick by team Giannis in last night’s All-Star draft.

In his first appearance in the All-Star game, Brandon Ingram will be suiting up for team Giannis Antetokounmpo – announced during last night’s All-Star draft. In making his selection, the 2019 MVP joked that he would be drafting former MVP Kevin Durant, before correcting himself that his pick was actually Ingram.

Giannis wasn’t out of line with that quip, either – Ingram has been compared to Durant since his entrance into the league. In his fourth season, Ingram has been putting up stats on par with Durant’s fourth year.

That’s high praise from one of the best players in the NBA, but Giannis is just confirming what we’ve been witnessing all season: Brandon Ingram is an All-Star. And, maybe one day, an MVP-caliber player.
