Small Forward / Villanova. 147. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Brooklyn Nets. Saddiq Bey. 19

With Joe Harris likely to walk and the Net with very little cap space, Brooklyn will look to shore up their wing position and add some shooting.

Saddiq Bey has plus size for the position at 6-foot-8 and has the stroke to be an above average 3-point shooter in the NBA.

He’s certainly not going to replace Harris right away, but Bey would give the Nets length and defensive versatility right away.

Bey projects as a 3-and-D guy who will hit the corner three and be the beneficiary of all of the double teams drawn by Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant once he returns.

Bey has probably not met his potential and has the kind of length that teams covet on the wing. He could develop into an elite defender and above average 3-point shooter, which would make him a good fit for the Brooklyn Nets.

The Nets need to shed some salary so it wouldn’t be shocking to see them try to package this with one of their players to clear up some space.
