Pick Analysis. Shooting Guard / Texas Tech. Miami Heat. 110. Scouting Report. Jahmi'us Ramsey. 23. player

The Miami Heat have been one of the surprise teams in the NBA this year, finding themselves i the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Miami has drafted well and is getting big production out of youngsters Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo and Kendrick Nunn.

Miami does have a glut of power forwards and wings, so they will likely try to shore up either point guard or shooting guard with this pick.

Jahmi’us Ramsey projects as a 3-and-D guard who can guard multiple positions and knock down 3-pointers at a high rate. Ramsey is shooting 42.3 percent from 3-point range on a fair volume of shots and would form a potentially dynamic backcourt Goran Dragic or Nunn.

The Miami Heat have some major salaries coming off the books this offseason, so could make a big splash in free agency or try and make a trade using this pick as an asset.

If they do end up using the pick, Ramsey fits the mold of what the Heat do and would fit in well with what they have built so far.
