Denver Nuggets. 24. player. 73. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Shooting Guard / Duke. Cassius Stanley

The Denver Nuggets are deep and talented and will be battling for the second seed in the loaded Western Conference for years to come.

This gives them the luxury of taking a chance on a guy like Cassius Stanley from Duke. Stanley has considerable potential and athletic ability but has yet to put it all together in his first season at Duke.

Stanley isn’t a great shooter or volume scorer but he can defend multiple positions and pulls down a fair number of rebounds for a guard.

Stanley was once a five-star recruit, so this would be a perfect high upside choice for a team that is already good and very deep.

Stanley stands at 6-foot-6, so has plus size for his position and should be able to guard multiple spots for the Nuggets.

He is a bit of a project but the Nuggets have the advantage of time. They can be patient and Stanley would get a chance to live up to his considerable potential.
