With the league shut down indefinitely, New Orleans Pelicans’ players are doing whatever they can to pass the time, including talking trash and interacting with fans.
With news that the league will be shut down until at least June and may not return at all, the New Orleans Pelicans are each finding their own ways to pass the time.
Zion Williamson has been helping out the community and reading books with his little brother, while Josh Hart has upped his social media game.
Hart has always been active on social media, whether it is chatting with fans or promoting his podcast, and he’s used the hiatus to increase his interaction.
Hart has been busy playing video games against fans, and now has plenty of time to talk trash after:
It’s cute how everyone thinks they the best gamer in the league. I’ve been doing this...yall new to it

Like the rest of us, Hart is probably starved for some basketball, so was reliving some of the best moments from the NCAA tournament, stopping to take a couple of good-natured jabs at teammate J.J. Redick.
My man was in his bag crazy....with that said I hated him at Duke https://t.co/ACyIC78NEb

To be fair, everyone not on the Duke campus hated Redick, so Hart is not alone there.
Hart also announced that he will be doing a Q and A on Discord for fans interested in asking him questions.
Going to start doing Q/As on discord! Hit the link to join...will let you guys know when I’m doing them https://t.co/1pEBDDoo08

A quick glance at some of the content on Discord makes me think Hart may not know what he is getting into with this one (beware, there is some adult content) but it should be interesting.
Hart has also been teaming up with Donovan Mitchell on Twitch, for fans who want to see if these ballers can back up their talk in the virtual world.
Hopping on the stream today with the Brodie @spidadmitchell at 3:30pm cst! Tune in!! https://t.co/zTRVWfr5UO

It’s an unprecedented time in the NBA. Players are already getting restless, while executives are bracing for the worst and trying to sort out the future.
With more uncertainty and time off still to come, the New Orleans Pelicans will likely be finding all sorts of creative ways to keep themselves occupied during the hiatus.
We will keep delivering great Pelicans’ content during the suspension of play, so thanks for the continued support.
Stay healthy and stay safe!
