The Portland Trail Blazers are still fighting for a playoff spot, so may end up outside of the lottery looking in depending on the injury status of the NBA season.

The Trail Blazers seem to always be looking for wing help and Saddiq Bey could end up being the best wing in this draft.

Coming out of Villanova, we know Bey will be able to defend, which he does well, but he can also shoot, hitting 45.1 percent of his 3-point attempts.

Bey’s ability to guard multiple positions at 6-foot-8, would give the Trail Blazers more defensive flexibility and his ability to hit corners threes projects well along with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum.

Bey has the kind of winning attitude and smarts that the Trail Blazers look for and would be thrilled if he dropped into their laps.

Bey’s combination of size and shooting may propel him into the top-ten in a draft that is light on wing talent.
