Scouting Report. Boston Celtics. Leandro Bolmaro. 18. Pick Analysis. Guard / FC Barcelona (Spain). 30. player

The New Orleans Pelicans and Boston Celtics enter the draft with plenty of young talent already on the roster.

Boston will likely swing for high-level potential with this pick, or a guy that they could stash overseas and develop for a few years.

Leandro Bolmaro is just 19 and has some raw skills that need refining, so he might fall into the latter category for the Celtics.

Bolmaro’s size at 6-foot-7 and potential elite defensive ability might entice someone to take him higher in the draft, but his offensive game lacks refinement and he shot just 27.9 percent from long-range.

The Celtics don’t really need him, but Bolmaro’s timeline could work well with the eventual departure of Gordan Heyward.
