10. Duncan Robinson, Miami Heat

2019-2020 Shooting Stats: 65 games (60 starts),13.3 PPG, 66.5% effective field goal rate, 44.8% on 8.4 three-point attempts per game

Career Shooting Stats: 80 games (61 starts), 11.4 PPG, 65.3% effective field goal rate, 43.8% on 7.2 three-point attempts per game

Going undrafted and entering the league in relative obscurity after making a run to the 2018 NCAA Championship with the Michigan Wolverines (who lost to current New Orleans Pelicans guard Josh Hart and the Villanova Wildcats), Duncan Robinson is emerging as one of the NBA’s best shooters.

Now playing a starting role in his second year with the Miami Heat after only appearing in 15 games during his rookie season, the 25-year-old has been one of the break-out stars of the NBA season.

Robinson currently does most of his offensive work acting as a catch-and-shoot three-point threat for Miami; he’s been advised by Eric Spoelstra to cut out his mid-range looks. Posting double-digit attempts from three in 24-of-65 games this season, he can’t be left open.

9. Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn Nets

2019-2020 Shooting Stats: 20 games (20 starts), 27.4 PPG, 54.6% effective field goal rate, 39.4% on 7.1 three-point attempts per game.

Career Shooting Stats: 528 games (528 starts), 22.4 PPG, 52.6% effective field goal rate, 39% on 5.4 three-point attempts per game.

Making limited appearances after departing the Boston Celtics for the Brooklyn Nets this summer, Kyrie Irving is still one of the more feared perimeter scorers in the league today.

Leading the team on offense as a primary ballhandler over the years, Irving’s creativity as a passer and ability to create in isolation makes him hard to contain. While he’s not the most efficient shooter in the NBA, he’s without a doubt one of the game’s most creative players.

No one will soon forget his 2017 NBA Finals performance either, where he shot 40.5% from three on 5.3 attempts per game all while averaging 27.1 points per contest, acting as a huge offensive catalyst for the Cleveland Cavaliers‘ lone NBA title.

It’ll be interesting to see what becomes of Irving and his Nets next season when he’ll hopefully have a cleaner bill of health and the team gets another of the league’s finest shooters added to their attack.
