Number 8

Jaxson Hayes and J.J. Redick

The only showing for either player on this list, they played together for 519.8 minutes in 48 games this season and put up a +68 net rating. It’s good to see both of these players on the list, although it was surprising to see them together as Redick isn’t the best playmaker and Hayes is more of a roll man at this point in his career.

Number 7

Derrick Favors and Brandon Ingram

This is where the duos on the list start to make a jump in plus/minus. In only 39 games and 829.5 minutes they had a +93 net rating. This is the lowest showing for Favors on the list which shows that Favors still has a lot of value for the New Orleans Pelicans, especially on the defensive end.

Number 6

Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson

This pairing may seem low but they played 17 games together, which added up to just 340.2 minutes. Despite the low games played they still had a +94 rating. Keeping these two healthy will be imperative for the New Orleans Pelicans moving forward.

The Pelicans front office will definitely be encouraged by what this duo was able to do in limited time together this season and feel very comfortable giving Ingram a max extension when the league resumes.
