Number 2

Lonzo Ball and Derrick Favors

The classic assist combo of floor general point guard and punishing center ranks second on the team this season. This duo played 798.6 minutes across 41 games this season and had a +147 net rating.

Seeing how many times Favors appears on this list, the Pelicans should think twice about letting him walk in free agency.

Number 1

Derrick Favors and Jrue Holiday

This duo blows the rest of the list out of the water. In 39 games, while playing 803.2 minutes, they put up a +213 net rating. Together they rank as the 47th best duo in the NBA, but don’t worry they played in many fewer games than the teams at the top of the duos leader board.

If not for the knee injury that delayed the start to Zion’s NBA career, these duos would likely rank much higher. There’s plenty to get excited about when the New Orleans Pelicans resume play, whether that’s weeks or months from now.
