This is a basic transition play where Zion Williamson gets the ball in the post early and goes to work. Lonzo sees that the double team is coming and floats to the open spot, making himself available for a kick out.

This is another play that shows the little things matter. Things like instinct and feel can’t be taught and both Zion Williamson and Lonzo Ball show plenty of both.

Zion has the instinct to feel the double team coming and Lonzo has the feel for where to go for the open shot. With Zion’s passing sure to improve and Lonzo’s 3-point shooting already getting there, there are sure to have plenty of these plays for years to come.

It’s going to be scary to see what these two can do on offense when they’ve had more time together.

But the game is not all about offense.
