What was the biggest moment of the game?

While Zion didn’t start out that great he did have the moment of the game. After a missed runner from Trevon Bluiett and a tipped rebound from Robinson, Kevin Knox came down with the ball.

Little did Knox know what was lurking behind him. As he started to turn to avoid the hand of Bluiett, Zion stepped up and ripped the ball from Knox’s arms.

Sending Knox flying to the floor Zion rose up and threw down a monster slam. That was the moment even the most skeptical fan knew Zion would fit in just fine in the NBA.

What was the main takeaway from this game?

The main takeaway from this game was that Zion looked dominant in the limited minutes we got to see, even though the New Orleans Pelicans were outscored by 15 points when he was in the game. That seemed to be more because the team was forcing it rather than letting the game come to them.

What did we learn from this game?

There wasn’t much we could learn about the Pelicans from this game unfortunately, as stated earlier only four Pelicans who played in this game would go on to play any NBA minutes this season. While Christian Wood would go on the have a very impressive regular season in Detroit, he did not get one minute of playing time in this game.
