Lonzo Ball on Zion Williamson: “He looks even stronger..”

Lonzo Ball raved about Zion Williamson’s slimmed down frame and is ready to pick up where they left off when the league was suspended.

Like most of the NBA world, Lonzo Ball was impressed by the new, slimmed down frame of Zion Williamson.

Last week pictures started circulating around the Internet that showed Zion Williamson wasn’t just sitting around on the sofa during the hiatus, he was putting in the work.

His teammates noticed as well, especially Lonzo Ball, who has already formed a special bond with Zion even though they have only played 19 games together.

Lonzo had this to say when asked about Zion Williamson during a recent sit down with reporters:

"“He looks amazing…He looks fully healthy. He looks even stronger than he was before, if that’s even possible. But I was happy to see him, happy to see he’s in shape, and looking forward to playing with him.”"

Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson are one of the NBA’s best duos…already.

Lonzo Ball should be excited.

He and Zion have already formed one of the most effective duos in the league. Ball averages three assists per game to Zion alone and the two have a +15.2 net rating when on the floor together.

If you are wondering, that net rating is 5th best in the Western Conference and the two were just beginning to scratch the surface of their immense potential together.

Lonzo Ball is the perfect point guard for Zion Williamson, as he has the uncanny ability to predict where Zion is going to be and put the ball there just as he arrives.

The two have already connected on some of the most amazing alley-oops of the season and Lonzo has mastered the ability to grab a rebound and immediately throw the outlet to a streaking Zion Williamson.

The New Orleans Pelicans were just starting to play well when the league was suspended and are eager to prove that they are a playoff team and soon to be a contender for the title.
