New Orleans Pelicans: Player Grades in 106-104 Loss to the Utah Jazz
New Orleans Pelicans: Player Grades for the small forwards.

I thought Josh Hart had the best all around game of any Pelican and should have been on the floor more, especially down the stretch. Hart finished the night with 10 points, knocking down two of three from long-range. He played solid defense, though like all the Pelicans, had problems keeping Clarkson out of the lane. With a minute left in the third, Hart grabbed a contested offensive rebound and kicked it out to Redick for an open three that looked like it was going to blow up the game.
Redick and Hart were a combined +18 off the bench and should have been on the floor more in the fourth quarter.
Brandon Ingram was poised to have a huge night after a 15 point first half when it looked like he was really starting to roll. Gentry inexplicably went away from Ingram in the second half, leaving him on the bench for a long stretch that may have cost the Pelicans the game. Ingram finished the night shooting just seven for 20 for 23 points, which led the team. His potential game winner at the buzzer was halfway into the hoop before it rattled out, which was pretty much symbolic of the night the Pelicans had. Ingram was aggressive in the first half but then all but disappeared in the second, which can’t happen on a night when Zion Williamson is on a minutes’ limitation.
