Here is all of the important information for the New Orleans Pelicans vs. San Antonio Spurs.
The New Orleans Pelicans‘ wanted to play meaningful games and they’ll get a chance against the San Antonio Spurs in what could be the biggest game of the season.
The Pelicans are still clinging to their playoff chances and a win over the Spurs would help. In fact, the Pelicans will have to win out to have a chance at the 9th seed, as they have been passed by both the Suns and the Spurs.
They now sit 2.5 behind the Grizzlies, 1.5 behind Portland and a half game behind the Spurs. They will have to pass two of these three teams to have a chance at the play-in game.
With only three games remaining it is a long-shot but the Pelicans can only win and hope to get some help at this point.
The Spurs have been one of the surprise teams of the bubble, going 3-2 and putting themselves in the mix.
The loser of this game is done, so the New Orleans Pelicans will have to bring their “A” game against the Spurs.

Injury Reports
The official injury report has not been released but the New Orleans Pelicans will be without Darius Miller. Zion Williamson is listed as day-to-day, but is expected to play.
LaMarcus Aldridge is out for the rest of this season for the Spurs, but they may be missing several other players. Tyler Zeller is day-to-day and missed the last game with a contusion on his knee.
Bryn Forbes was also out against Utah and is unlikely to play, and Trey Lyles is also out.
Best Fantasy Sports Bets
I’ve been riding the hot hand of Josh Hart and I will continue to do so.
He has grabbed at least six rebounds in every bubble game so far, is relatively cheap and doesn’t miss many shots.
Zion is probably a stay-away, as you never know how many minutes he’ll play, but he was unstoppable against the Kings, barely missed a shot and might be worth the risk.
Brandon Ingram has yet to have a big game and didn’t play particularly well against Washington. Frank Jackson could be another low-cost, high reward guy, as he played well off the bench.
Point guard Derrick White has been amazing for the Spurs in the bubble and since the Pelicans have done little to stop opposing guards thus far, he is a strong play.
The Pelicans’ defense in the paint has also been lacking, so expect Jakob Poeltl to have another big game. He scored 19 points, added ten rebounds and blocked three shots against Utah, who is much bigger and better than the Pelicans down low.
The Pelicans haven’t played much defense so far, so the Spurs might all be good plays in what is sure to be a high scoring game.
