The New Orleans Pelicans are out, but Lonzo Ball is still defending himself.

The New Orleans Pelicans have been officially eliminated from playoff contention, which was a disappointment after all the pre-bubble hype. No one is more upset than Lonzo Ball, who hasn’t had a good game in the bubble, a surprise after he was red-hot before the suspension of play.

Lonzo has taken responsibility for his poor play, and there is no reason to panic because of such a small sample of games.

Lonzo Ball will be back and will carry extra motivation into the offseason. He might even have a little chip on his shoulder after some trolling on Twitter.

New Orleans Pelicans: Lonzo Ball responds to Bleacher Report’s Trolling.

Bleacher Report made a snide tweet in which they posted Lonzo Ball’s bubble stats along with the New Orleans Pelicans’ record, clearly implying that he is the reason for their poor showing.

Look, Lonzo hasn’t played well and he’s acknowledged it, but he is still a huge part of the future of this team and will undoubtedly come back next season an improved player.

He wanted to remind the haters to check back in next season and quit acting like six games define him as a player.

Lonzo seemed to have left his swagger outside the bubble, so it was good to see him show some fire, even if it was just on Twitter.

He still has two games to get things right, find some rhythm and confidence in his shot and leave Florida with some positives.

Lonzo Ball seems like the kind of player who will use his poor play and critics as motivation to improve and learn from his mistakes.

The New Orleans Pelicans may be eliminated, but Lonzo Ball and the young players still have plenty to play for in the last two games.
