New Orleans Pelicans: 3 Stretch-Bigs To Target in the 2020 NBA Draft

New Orleans Pelicans Stretch Big Target #2- Zeke Nnaji, Arizona
Zeke Nnaji is a sleeper in this year’s NBA draft. He wasn’t able to rise up any draft boards because the NCAA tournament was canceled but that could benefit the New Orleans Pelicans.
Watching Nnaji play at Arizona, I constantly find myself marveled at his athletic ability and how smooth his shot is on top of it. Zeke Nnaji would perfectly fit the New Orleans Pelicans roster.
At Arizona, Nnaji played in head coach Sean Miller’s pick-and-roll heavy offense. The result was an excellent two-man game between Nnaji and Arizona guard Nico Mannion that made Arizona one of the better teams in the country.
Now imagine if you switch out Mannion with Lonzo Ball and then add Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram into the picture. The defense will have to choose who to leave open which would mean either a mean attack by Ingram and Williamson in the paint or an easy three by Nnaji.
Zeke Nnaji could be inserted into the rotation right away and in time maybe even start if he continues to develop his defense and put the effort in on the glass.
