Post Lottery Mock Draft: The New Orleans Pelicans Get Big Wing at 13
2020 NBA Mock Draft: Picks #19 and 20
The Nets will likely go for a high upside guy and very few players have the tantalizing combination of size and skill as Jaden McDaniels.
The 6-foot-10 McDaniels is projects as an above average defender and can likely guard multiple positions, which gives him value as a wing.
McDaniels’ size could make him a matchup nightmare for opponents, especially if he can eventually develop a consistent jumper.
He fits well with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and Caris LaVert
Cole Anthony would give the Heat insurance in case Goran Dragic leaves. Miami is also great at developing talent and Anthony had as much as anyone in the country before his injury.
Anthony has the chance to be a dynamic playmaker and scorer and would go along well with what the Heat are doing, either off the bench if Dragic stays, or potentially as the starter if he doesn’t.
Getting Anthony here may allow the Heat to invest resources at other positions.
