New Orleans Pelicans Draft Profile: Killian Tillie’s Weaknesses

When it comes to the weaknesses in Killian Tillie’s game, the only real concern is his injury history. The injuries Tillie suffered during his time at Gonzaga are his biggest red-flags as a prospect and need serious evaluating.

From knee surgeries to torn foot ligaments and stress fractured ankles there are clear signs that Killian Tillie could be the typical big man that falls out of the NBA because his legs give in.

Without the injury history, many NBA evaluators would be talking about taking Tillie in the lottery because there are little flaws in his game. This means the New Orleans Pelicans will have to seriously review Tillie’s medicals before they use a valuable pick on him.

The injury history also may lead to concerns about areas of his game. Tillie might not be able to be a quick explosive athlete or great rim-protector due to the toll injuries have taken on his body.
