Mock Draft With Trades: The New Orleans Pelicans Move Up
2020 NBA Mock Draft with Trades: #10- Cleveland Cavaliers
Cleveland stinks.
And they are likely to stink for awhile, so why not take a risk on a high ceiling guy who could be the league’s next unicorn?
Aleksej Pokusevski is probably the most controversial pick in this draft, as some have him as one of the top talents, while others have him falling to the second round.
He is a seven-footer with a nice shooting stroke who can handle the ball and make plays. He fits well as a piece next to Andre Drummond if the Cavs re-sign him, as Pokusevski weighs about 80 lbs. and is not going to be banging inside.
He has a game that fits the modern NBA, but still needs to put on strength if he is going to be able to defend. He could be a gifted weak side shot blocker, but right now he is too small to try and body NBA power forwards.
This could be a nice draft for the Cavs if they can trade down, grab an asset and still get a player with a high ceiling to go along with Sexton.
