2020 NBA Mock Draft with Trades: #13- Washington Wizards

This is the pick the Wizards make if they plan on blowing it up and moving John Wall and Bradley Beal, which is a possibility.

Hampton would offer them some security, a high ceiling piece to build around and the Wizards would have two young guards with size and potential.

Hampton is all over the place in mock drafts, with some believing he is a top-five talent who could eventually be the best guard in this draft, while others believe he has big bust potential.

The Wizards are stuck in purgatory at the moment and will have to know more about Wall’s health before they make any big decisions.

Either way, Hampton gives them a potential impact talent, more athleticism and a high ceiling piece to go along with Hachimura.
