2020 NBA Mock Draft with Trades: #5- Cleveland Cavaliers

Tyrese Haliburton. Pick Analysis. Phoenix Suns. Point Guard. 5. player. 66. Scouting Report

Rumors are that Cleveland is not looking to add another young developmental talent to a team that is already very young.

There is definitely a trade out there for the number five pick, though the Cavaliers might not be happy with the return. There is a perceived steep drop off after the 3rd pick in this draft, so any trade is not going to yield a ton.

In this case the Cavs get the established wing they are desperate for and still gets a top ten pick to add some young talent.

The Suns may be looking for a bigger trade for a more established player themselves after going 8-0 in the bubble. In this case they get a pass-first point guard in Haliburton, who may end up being the best point guard in the draft and is a nice fit along Devin Booker.

The Suns played well without Oubre Jr. in the bubble and may think he is expendable, especially if they can jump up and get a top talent that they like.
