New Orleans Pelicans-Free Agent Shooting Guards in 2021

The shooting guard position has a few more realistic options for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Danny Green and Tim Hardaway Jr. could be 3-and-D options though Green is definitely at the tail-end of his career.

Victor Oladipo might be out of the Pelicans’ range but would be a nice fit along Lonzo and would form a dynamic defensive backcourt.

KCP is a guy who has probably not lived up to his draft spot, but he is a long guard who can defend multiple positions and shoot 3-pointers. He would also be a nice fit with Lonzo.

DeRozan is not a great fit, but there are some other, less heralded guys available as well. Players like Wesley Matthews and Reggie Bullock could help the Pels and give them some size.

There will be options for the Pelicans at shooting guard, including re-signing their own free agent J.J. Redick.
