As you can see, there is a clear upper tier for the power forwards, and a second tier that is populated with role players.

Wouldn’t it be great if Anthony Davis returned to New Orleans? Some people would not agree with that sentiment, but he and Zion would be a force, unless of course Davis refused to play center…oh wait, nevermind.

Giannis is the big prize obviously, and if the Bucks lose to Miami in the second round the rumors are going to start flying. Rather than risk losing the best player in the league for nothing, the Bucks may try to trade him and will certainly offer the biggest contract in the league if he wants to stay.

The second tier guys are where the Pels might find some value. JaMychal Green has been very good for the Clippers and Daniel Theis averages 1.3 blocks in 24 minutes a game, so could be a fit as well.

Barring a blockbuster trade involving Zion and Giannis, the Pels are unlikely to get the Greek Freak, and Davis is not happening, so they might have to look to that second tier.

Either way, it beats overpaying for someone like Montrezl Harrell or Paul Millsap this offseason.
