New Orleans Pelicans: Trading Zion Williamson for Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Trade of the Century

First of all, if this trade happened the Internet would likely explode.

This would be one of the biggest trades of all time involving two of the league’s marquee players, which doesn’t often happen.

Here is how the trade could work:

In this trade the Pelicans are giving up both Zion and Jrue Holiday, as well as a first round draft pick.

Bucks’ fans might think there is a bigger package out there, especially when it comes to picks, but the truth is that Giannis only has one year left on his deal, so he is a big risk, especially if he wouldn’t commit to re-signing before free agency.

The Pelicans would almost have to get some assurance that Giannis would stick around before making this deal, but even if they did, would they consider making such a bold move?

For that matter, would the Bucks?
