30. DEVON DOTSON / GUARD / KANSAS

Biggest Selling Point: Scoring Around the Rim

Kicking things off as the 30th ranked prospect in the 2020 NBA Draft is Kansas’, Devon Dotson. Dotson is ready to contribute from day one for whatever team that drafts him because of his value as a scoring point guard off the bench. The sophomore Dotson averaged 15 points a game for his career and that was due to his ability to use speed and get to the rim. Dotson’s game is all about driving off screens and hoping to score an easy basket in the paint or get to the free-throw line. That talent will translate to the NBA.

29. KILLIAN TILLIE / BIG / GONZAGA

Biggest Selling Point: 3 Point Shooting

Killian Tillie would have a much higher spot in many 2020 NBA Draft rankings if it wasn’t for his one fault, injuries. Injuries hold down Tillie’s from being available in every NBA game, but he will still be a valuable contributor from day one. The biggest reason why he’ll make an impact is his 3 point shooting. In a modern NBA that values 3 point shooting from their big men, Tillie is elite with a 40 percent career average from deep. His ability to enter any rotation and play pick-and-pop actions will make him an attractive prospect in this year’s draft regardless of his injury history.

28. TRE JONES / GUARD / DUKE

Biggest Selling Point: Playmaking and Defense

If you’re looking for the steadiest hand in the 2020 NBA Draft, then Tre Jones is your guy. He’s not a flashy modern-day point guard who likes to get his shots up, he’s a traditional floor general. Jones has showcased at Duke that he can walk onto any NBA team and run an offense. Averaging 5.8 assists at Duke through two seasons, everything the Blue Devils do goes through Jones and that’ll be the same for him at the next level. On top of that, Jones is a two-way player who is elite when it comes to playing in different defensive schemes and taking on opposing guards.

27. CASSIUS WINSTON / GUARD / MICHIGAN STATE

Biggest Selling Point: A Complete Player

Cassius Winston is the definition of a finished product coming out of college and that will help him easily transition to the NBA. A senior guard for Tom Izzo at Michigan State, Winston’s best attribute is that he can do a bit of everything. He comes to the NBA with two seasons averaging 18 points a game in college along with a 43 percent stroke from 3 point range. Factor in his 6.4 assists per game during his collegiate career and you have a plug-and-play point guard ready for the next level.

26. XAVIER TILLMAN / BIG / MICHIGAN STATE

Biggest Selling Point: Effort and Hustle

Coming in at number 26 is Winston’s partner in crime at Michigan State, Xavier Tillman. Tillman and Winston formed a blue-collar duo at Michigan State that fit perfectly for head coach Tom Izzo and the state that gave us the “Going to Work” Detroit Pistons. The biggest reason Tillman will contribute at the next level is because of his effort and hustle. Tillman makes all the little plays, he’ll grab some rebounds, make a block or a steal, and hit the open man. Any team can assign Tillman a role at the next level and he’ll do it no questions asked.
