New Orleans Pelicans NBA Draft: Patrick Williams and Aaron Nesmith

You now have one of the youngest teams in the NBA, but you are deep, potentially better defensively and might have replaced Redick with a younger shooter.

In this move you could add both defense and shooting to your roster, get younger and have the most assets of any team in the NBA.

PG: Lonzo Ball

SG: Jrue Holiday/Josh Hart

SF: Brandon Ingram/Aaron Nesmith

PF: Zion Williamson/Patrick Williams/Nicolo Melli/Frank Kaminsky

C: Jaxson Hayes/Free Agent

This team has a lot of options, is better defensively depending on what they do at center, and would have a surplus of forwards from which to trade.

Even if they had to give up more to do a trade like this, it would behoove them to do so, as they could have five lottery picks on one team and balance their roster at the same time.

Nesmith could be the best shooter in this draft and could somewhat mimic Redick’s production, while Patrick Williams makes them tougher and better on defense.

You have a young team that should be really fun to watch.
