The Denver Nuggets young core did what the New Orleans Pelicans want to do and that could lead to some interesting games in 2021

This last one is a little surprising but potentially very entertaining and that’s the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets are one of the best young teams in the NBA, and after breaking into the Western Conference Finals, they’re going to be a tough out.

With an electric core of Jamal Murray, Micheal Porter Jr., and Nikola Jokic, the Pelicans will face a more talented team then they are. That’s why this matchup is so interesting. This is a team that’s head and shoulders better than the Pelicans so I expect the team to try and prove themselves against them.

This matchup gets even more compelling if the Nuggets end up seeking a trade for Jrue Holiday or if the Pelicans hire Wes Unseld Jr. as their head which rumors are suggesting. Either way, dealing with Mike Malone’s schemes and the Nuggets talent is a tall task for the young Pelicans.

The Denver Nuggets are the team that I think will push the New Orleans Pelicans the most, and show fans what the young core is made of.

In the end, the 2021 season will be exciting because we’ll see growth in this young Pelicans team and a playoff push. Matchups with these four teams are a cherry on top because they might spark a compelling rivalry for years to come.
