New Orleans Pelicans NBA Mock Draft: #4 Pick

Small Forward / Maccabi Tel Aviv. 24. Chicago Bulls. Deni Avdija. 4. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

The Chicago Bulls jumped into the top-four of the draft, but will be unhappy if it goes as I’ve predicted so far.

The Bulls would love to add LaMelo Ball, as they too are lacking star power and could use a playmaking point guard to go along with their scorers.

The Bulls could trade up if they really want Ball, as any of the top three teams would listen, but I could also see the Bulls trading down if the guy they really want isn’t there when they pick.

The Bulls are abysmal offensively, ranking 27th in the NBA, but play decent defense as the league’s 13th best defensive team.

This draft is light on wings, but Deni Avdija could end up being the best of them.

He is a savvy playmaker and at 6-foot-9, would give the Bulls another big wing to go along with Lauri Markkanen.

Avdija is already a plus-defender, so would fit in well with the Bulls’ philosophy on that end of the floor.

He doesn’t help the Bulls poor outside shooting much, but he gives them a versatile player to go with Zach LaVine and Coby White.

This draft is not going to save the Bulls and it’s easy to see them trading down if they can find a partner.
