Detailing the prospects that have stuck out so far during the New Orleans Pelicans’ virtual draft combine

The month of November for some is a nice thought because the temperatures get a little colder and the Holidays get going with Thanksgiving. It’s still over a month away but for me, November sounds lovely because we’ll finally see some action from the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2020 NBA Draft.

I know, it seems insane that now we’re finally arriving at draft season. After all, it feels like it’s been five years since a college basketball game was on. That’s simply the world we’re living in during 2020.

If you’ve only been following the NBA Draft casually you might not know how the league’s handling predraft workouts so far. Just recently, the NBA rolled out a virtual combine where players work out in a facility and scouts watch from remote locations.

Following their workouts, prospects then get to sit down for web conferences and get interviewed by any teams interested in drafting them. It’s a cool experience and if you’re big on the draft, it’s worth checking out some of the prospects the Pelicans are looking at.

If not, we got you covered right here with three of our favorite prospects. These are prospects who met with the New Orleans Pelicans that we found impressive and could potentially play meaningful roles. Keep in mind that just because the team looked at these prospects doesn’t mean they’re seriously targeting them.
