The New Orleans Pelicans have to like what they see from Zion Williamson this offseason.

For the New Orleans Pelicans, much of the offseason talk has revolved around the body of Zion Williamson.

Zion looked out of shape when he returned to the bubble, which had some people worried about his future and his ability to stay healthy.

This is not to pick on a 20-year-old who just went through an unprecedented season of injuries, pandemic and family emergencies. It’s hard to blame Zion for his first-year misfortunes, but it’s also fair to be concerned.

That’s because the only way he doesn’t take over the NBA is if he is out of shape or injured. Zion is that good.

When photos of Zion Williamson emerged after the lockdown, he looked ripped and the Internet nearly exploded. But when he had to leave for a family emergency, something happened and Zion never really came back 100 percent.

New Orleans Pelicans: Zion Williamson looks slim, happy and ready in Men’s Health

That’s why the New Orleans Pelicans had to be happy when they saw a recent Men’s Health article in which Zion Williamson looks slim and happy on the cover.

This long-form article discusses everything from Zion’s one-of-a-kind body, to his struggles with his weight, to his new workout and diet regimen, which includes a whole lot of salmon.

Unfortunately, these types of discussions are going to happen until Zion Williamson proves he can last an entire season, stay in shape and not be on any kind of restrictions.

This will be Zion’s first full offseason in the NBA, so we can expect him to return looking better than ever and ready to play.

If he can overcome his physical issues, there is no limit on how good Zion can be, which is why it’s good to see him slim, happy and rocking a new mustache.
