New Orleans Pelicans trade rumors: Joel Embiid for a Jrue Holiday package

The 76ers are likely looking to shake things up under new coach Doc Rivers and the New Orleans Pelicans need a center, so there might be a mutually beneficial trade.

Bleacher Report recently proposed a blockbuster trade involving a package centered around Jrue Holiday. Here is the proposed trade:

This one would definitely shake up both teams.

The Pelicans would be giving up veteran players, a young guy and picks, but getting back the best big man in the game and a very serviceable forward in Josh Richardson.

This is one of those trades that would blow up the Internet, but it also seems fair for both sides.

Would the New Orleans Pelicans push their trade assets into the middle of the table for Embiid? Would the Sixers give up one of the best centers in the game for more shooting and future picks?

Both sides would have to at least consider this deal but would they do it?
