New Orleans Pelicans trade rumors: Jrue Holiday to the Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have been one of the teams most rumored to be after Jrue Holiday and we’ve seen about a million different versions of what the Pelicans could potentially get.

Here is the deal that makes the most sense for the Pelicans:

The Pels get an exciting wing in Caris LeVert, as well as their backup point guard in Spencer Dinwiddie, who would be a huge upgrade.

They also pick up another pick which they could use in a future trade to get another veteran or move up in the draft. They would also clear a lot of cap space to use on another free agent, adding depth where they need it.

Jarrett Allen has also been rumored to be part of the package and the Pels may prefer him to Dinwiddie, but there is definitely a match one way or another.

The New Orleans Pelicans will likely trade Jrue Holiday soon and it will probably be to one of these eight teams unless some new mystery team gets into the mix.
