After the New Orleans Pelicans traded Jrue Holiday to the Milwaukee Bucks, every fan should be watching what happens with the Bucks this season

#1- Milwaukee Bucks

I bet you didn’t see this one coming. Yes, the Milwaukee Bucks only play the New Orleans Pelicans twice but this an important team for Pelicans fans to watch for a variety of reasons.

Number one, the Bucks have fan-favorite Jrue Holiday on their roster since the Pelicans traded him there and I’m sure many fans will be rooting for his success this year. He could be the key to the Bucks winning a title, and many fans in New Orleans would love to see Holiday raise the Larry O’Brien trophy.

Secondly, the New Orleans Pelicans pretty much have all of the Milwaukee Bucks’ future first-round picks since the team gave those up to acquire Jrue Holiday. That means that Pelicans fans should be watching for any signs of discomfort by Giannis Antetokunmpo because if he leaves the Bucks then their picks are certain to grow in value for the Pelicans.

Oh, and if you want to get crazy with it…here’s reason number three. The New Orleans Pelicans in theory have a path to acquiring Giannis Antetokunmpo in the 2021 offseason if this year doesn’t go as planned for the Milwaukee Bucks. How’s that for a little bit of speculation.

I don’t know about any of you but just thinking about the New Orleans Pelicans and these teams has me pumped to finally see some NBA basketball again. Good thing there’s only a month to go.
