The New Orleans Pelicans could find talent among the best undrafted players in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The New Orleans Pelicans should always be on the lookout for talent and there may be some among the best undrafted players.

The Miami Heat have given every team in the NBA hope by finding two contributors among the undrafted in Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson, who both played big minutes for the Heat last season.

The 2020 NBA Draft was the strangest in history, as teams didn’t get to watch players in the postseason or even get to meet some of them in person due to COVID-19 restrictions.

This means that there is definitely some talent that went undrafted.

Kaleb Wesson

I’m not going to lie, one of the reasons I like Wesson is because his mom rides for him on Twitter, which I love.

Everyone should have a mom who gets after it for her kids:

She’s out there promoting both of her sons, I love it!

Moms aside, Wesson is a guy who could add some strength and length to the Pels’ interior. He’s definitely not an elite athlete but he is a dog on the defensive end who really gets after it.

He can also stretch the floor, shooting 42.5 percent from 3-point range on 3.4 attempts per game for the Buckeyes.

He is a shot blocker who grabs boards and can hit the corner three, which are all things you would like to have next to Zion Williamson.

Wesson could provide depth at both forward positions and is worth a look on a two-way deal or a straight G-League contract.
