Mark your New Orleans Pelicans’ schedule for Jrue Holiday’s return to the Crescent City.

The first half of the New Orleans Pelicans‘ schedule has been announced and it is not going to be easy for the Pelicans.

They have some tough stretches early on, which could lead to a slow start considering the Pels are trying to adjust to a new coach and some new faces on the roster.

The first half of the schedule also contains a couple of games against a familiar face, the recently traded Jrue Holiday.

The Pels will welcome Holiday back to the Smoothie King Center twice in the first half of the schedule, though there are unlikely to be many fans there to greet him.

This is a shame really, as it would have been nice to give Holiday a warm return with standing ovations and maybe even his jersey retired in the rafters, but it is more likely he’ll get 500 fans cheering through masks, the unfortunate reality we currently live in.

New Orleans Pelicans’ schedule: When does Jrue Holiday return to New Orleans?

Pelicans fans won’t have to wait long to see Holiday in the Big Easy, as the Pels match up with the Bucks in the second game of the preseason on December 18th.

It seems crazy, but Holiday will be back in New Orleans in a different jersey in less than two weeks.

The Pels also have a regular-season game at home against the Bucks on January 29th in the first game of tough back-to-back that includes the Rockets.

This could be a crucial stage for the Pelicans, as it could be easy for them to get lost in the emotion of playing against their former teammate and they have big games against the Wizards and Rockets on either side.

The first half of the schedule won’t be easy and Jrue Holiday is sure to make it even tougher on his former team.
