Takeaway #3: Brandon Ingram earned his Max Contract

New Orleans Pelicans fans should be drooling at what they saw from Ingram last night. Like I said in the first slide, he was truly looking like a young KD out there.

Some of the shots B.I hit last night seemed impossible. His mid-range has to be one of the best in the league.

Ingram hit step-backs with a hand in his face, finished strong at the rim, and also hit a couple of open 3-pointers.

His defensive intensity was turned up all game, swiping three steals and adding a block and Ingram had some nice assists as well.

Brandon Ingram’s future with the Pelicans looks bright. He is getting better and better every single year and his potential seems limitless.

This season I can see Brandon Ingram becoming more poised and focused under Stan Van Gundy. There were times in the past when B.I would look sporadic and would end up making some bad plays.

This year if he is able to bring his game totally under control, he’ll be a problem for the rest of the league.

It was a nice team win for the New Orleans Pelicans, but Zion and Ingram showed why they are the cornerstones of this franchise.
