Brandon Ingram was one of many Pelicans who did not shoot well, but he played a strong overall game and carried the Pels down the stretch.

This was a big game for Ingram, as he showed he can contribute in ways other than just scoring. He notched six assists and 11 rebounds, which was nice to see after he only got two boards against the Heat.

Ingram took over the game late when Stan Van Gundy went to the pick-and-roll with Steven Adams, which is proving to be nearly impossible to stop.

Ingram is clearly the go-to offensive player on this team and made some incredibly difficult shots once again.

Both Ingram and Zion Williamson looked more committed on defense as well, which is something that has to happen on a nightly basis.

It wasn’t a glamorous 28 points but Ingram got the job done and keeps showing the Pels were 100 percent correct when they gave him a max extension.
