29. Washington Wizards (3-8)

Honestly, I considered putting the Washington Wizards at number 30 in our NBA Power Rankings, because unlike the last team, the Wizards were expected to be a good team.

Still, I refrained, and that’s mainly because of Bradley Beal’s brilliant play. Outside of that, there’s nothing good to say about the Wizards. Russell Westbrook is clearly past his prime, and playing some of the most inefficient basketball in the league, Scott Brooks runs an antiquated system, and the Wizards’ defense might be the worst in the league. It’s really bad, and Bradley Beal requests a trade soon.

30. Detriot Pistons (2-9)

This is a really weird one for me. The Detriot Pistons are the worst team in basketball record-wise so they obviously get the 30th spot in our NBA Power Rankings, yet I don’t think they’re actually that bad.

This Pistons team plays hard, and I like the young talent on this team. Saddiq Bey and Isaiah Stewart look like solid young players, and Killian Hayes was looking amazing before a season-ending injury. Not to mention, Jerami Grant looks like an All-Star in Detriot. Sure they need to get rid of Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin, but I think the future is bright for the Pistons. Especially if they land a top-4 player in the 2021 NBA Draft.
