New Orleans Pelicans: Possible trades for J.J. Redick

The Miami Heat

After leading the league in 3-point shooting last season, the Heat have dropped to 17th overall this year.

The Heat haven’t had their full team for most of the season, and when they do, they will likely be fine from long range.

But they are a good team looking to win now and may like to add a guy like Redick, who has proven himself in the playoffs even though he has struggled this year.

A good place to start in a trade would be Kelly Olynyk, who would be a nice fit on the Pels and is also in the final year of his deal.

The way Redick is playing, the Pels would probably have to sweeten the pot to make this happen, but if it took a 2nd round pick or two, so be it.

The Heat probably won’t overreact to their recent struggles but the Pels might be able to get a player from them if they are willing to make a deal.
