New Orleans Pelicans vs. Washington Wizards: Grades for the shooting guards

Shooting Guards

Eric Bledsoe has been on fire since he started wearing the headband.

He poured in another 18 points after a 28-point performance in the previous game. He did turn the ball over a few times and his defense on Beal left a lot to be desired, but Bledsoe has been playing well, let’s hope it continues.

J.J. Redick is washed, let’s move on.

Josh Hart is a plus defender and rebounder but can’t make a wide-open 3-point shot. Let’s move on.

Nickeil Alexander-Walker did shoot the ball well again and has gone away from what made him effective, which was taking the ball to the rim.

He’s been settling for 3-point shots lately and he’s not really a very good 3-point shooter. He did add five rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block, so NAW found ways to contribute without scoring but he needs to get back to being aggressive.
