New Orleans Pelicans vs. Bucks: Player Grades for the small forwards

A. . Small Forward. New Orleans Pelicans. BRANDON INGRAM

Brandon Ingram is a star, it’s that simple.

He poured in another 28 points from all over the floor and did what fans have wanted him to do from the beginning, which is to get to the line and feast.

Ingram shot 13 free throws against the Bucks and made 11 of them, which is exactly how elite scorers pile up the points every night.

When the Pelicans move the ball and get Ingram moving off of screens, he is nearly impossible to stop on the high post, where he can get a shot anytime he wants it.

If you go under those screens to try and stop the mid-range, then he just shoots right over you from long-range.

Ingram is cooking right now and did a great job closing out the game when the Bucks were creeping.

The Pels’ offense was predictable down the stretch but Ingram’s ability to get to the line and knock them down was the difference.

If he keeps this up, he could be your starter in the All-Star Game.
