New Orleans Pelicans vs. Pacers: Player Grades for the small forwards

Small Forward. New Orleans Pelicans. BRANDON INGRAM. A.

I often say that you can tell whether the Pels won just by looking at Brandon Ingram’s assist to turnover ratio.

If he has few assists and 4+ turnovers, the Pels likely lost and played too much isolation in the process. If he is dishing and not turning it over they almost always win.

Last night Brandon Ingram had seven assists and only two turnovers.

He also added 30 points and six rebounds on the night.

We are starting to take Brandon Ingram’s greatness for granted, as he just keeps quietly filling out the stat sheet on offense and improving on the defensive end, where he is averaging a career-high in blocked shots.

Ingram has looked more comfortable playing off the ball with Zion Williamson in the game and taking over the offense when he is out.
