New Orleans Pelicans: Uniting Lonzo and LaMelo Ball in Charlotte

I’ve written quite a lot about wanting to see Lonzo and LaMelo Ball on the same team, I was just hoping that team would be the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pels might have had a chance to move up in the draft and select LaMelo themselves which will remain one of the biggest what-ifs of the 2020 NBA Draft.

Ball reunions aside, the Hornets do have some interesting players who might be fits on the New Orleans Pelicans if Charlotte decides that they want to collect all of the Ball fans in one place (God help them).

Miles Bridges and Devonte’ Graham could be potential targets, as both could fill needs for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Pels could also try and pry away Vernon Carey Jr. who is lighting up the G-League and looks like he might end up being the type of stretch-five that could be a perfect fit with Zion Williamson.

The New Orleans Pelicans will definitely be getting some calls as the deadline approaches and there are a number of teams that would make great trade partners.
