Pelicans trade rumors: Victor Oladipo is up for grabs

Another good player on a bad team who might find a new home before the deadline is Victor Oladipo of the Houston Rockets.

The Rockets are currently rocketing the wrong direction and have lost 13-in-a-row and are now the second-worst team in the Western Conference.

I made a possible trade for Victor Oladipo that some fans laughed at, though I doubt this same package would get Oladipo now.

He is a free agent after this season so would come with some risk but he is a guy who would fit nicely with Lonzo and upgrade the Pelicans’ woeful defense.

New Orleans Pelicans: Back to Bradley Beal

I’ve written about a 100 articles about how the Pelicans could get Bradley Beal and we are still not even sure if the Wizards have any plans of trading him.

I won’t belabor the point, as we all know what Beal could bring to the table. The question is whether he is really a fit with Zion and Ingram and whether the Pelicans have the assets to get him from the Wizards.

I think the answer is yes to both questions so who knows, we still may yet see some type of deal to bring the NBA’s top scorer to New Orleans.
