Pelicans: When will Zion Williamson’s signature shoe be released?

Zion Williamson has had quite a season for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Not only has he put up numbers that have put him in elite company as a 20-year-old, but the Jordan brand recently announced that he is going to have his own signature shoe.

The colorful shoe suits Zion’s larger than life game, though some people didn’t like the design and deemed it a little too colorful and loud to be worn off the court as well as on.

I for one love the design and hope to buy a pair for a number of reasons, namely that I have wide feet and am hoping the Jordan brand used some sort of NASA technology to reinforce them for Zion Williamson.

But the question is not whether I should buy them (I definitely should) but when we’ll all be able to, as there is still no official release date in the United States.

However, some information has recently leaked on Footlocker and we may be able to buy these shoes sooner than we thought.

Pelicans: Jordan Z Code release date

According to Footlocker UK, Zion Wiliamson’s signature shoe will be released on April 23, just a few days from now, though there is no word on when the shoes will be released in the U.S.

There is also no word on whether all of the designs will be available, as only the black and gold version is listed on the official site.

The version with the graffiti style colorway may not be available on that date and we’ll have to wait and see if they will also be released in the States at the same time.

Sneaker heads who want to get one of the more unique pair of Jordans should mark their calendar, as the Z Codes are about to hit the stores.
