Clearly, the firing of Van Gundy came as a surprise to many considering it was a selection made by general manager David Griffin.
Needless to say, after all of the success by younger teams within the last couple of years, the clock has officially started for Griffin.
Recently WDSU’s Fletcher Mackel, reported that the New Orleans Pelicans are strongly considering Phoenix Suns’ assistant coach Willie Green and Milwaukee Bucks assistant coach Charles Lee for the position.
