Prediction #2: Trey Murphy III will make the first-team All Rookie

After his performance in Summer League, it might not even be a bold prediction to say that Trey Murphy III will end up on the first-team All Rookie.

Everything is set up for him to thrive in New Orleans, as he is the lights-out shooter the Pels have lacked the last two seasons and will also play defense against multiple positions on the wing.

He could end up breaking into the starting lineup and is going to get a ton of open looks from long range.

Murphy III will average double-digits and shoot more than 40 percent from 3-point range. That and his defense will be enough to make him one of the top-5 rookies this season after being drafted 17th overall.

Prediction #3: Zion Williamson will lead the league in scoring

Even though Zion is likely to start the season less than 100 percent, I feel he is one of the frontrunners to win the scoring title this season.

He is continuing to add mid-range jumpers and floaters to his game, and if he can knock those down consistently he will be as close to unstoppable as an offensive player can be.

If you want a great longshot bet to make on the Pelicans, take Zion to win the scoring title, as he is primed to be the biggest part of a dynamic offense that should finish in the top-5 in scoring.

Zion is currently getting +900 odds to win the scoring title, which is a great bet in my opinion.
